Starladder has announced that Virtus.pro, North, Heroic and Imperial are the invitees for the StarSeries i-League Season 5 Europe closed qualifier.

The four invited teams will join the four squads that have qualified from the open stage in a battle for two spots at StarSeries i-League Season 5.

AGO, GODSENT, Windigo and Kinguin are the participants coming from the open qualifier after leaving behind the likes of eXtatus and Singularity in the GSL, best-of-three group stage.

MSL's North will be looking to return to Kiev

North are the highest-ranked team in attendance despite struggling lately, failing to secure a spot in the ESL Pro League Season 7 finals and at ESL One Belo Horizonte.

Another invitee is Virtus.pro, who are currently ranked No.13 in the world, will participate in the qualifier after a disappointing run at Bets.net Masters, where they finished in 4th place, and having failed to qualify for IEM Sydney 2018.

The European qualifier will consist of a single-elimination, best-of-three bracket. The team list looks as follows:
